We know when the new Café de Paris will open in Monaco

Although it was due to be handed over last July, the Café de Paris project is nearing completion. The brasserie is due to open in mid-November.
One to two years of work

The fence has come down, revealing the redesigned contours of the building. Café de Paris is entering its final days of construction, before unveiling a completely revamped building to customers. The "flagship" of the Société des Bains de Mer, as its CEO describes it, was due to be delivered last July. However, with work behind schedule, the date has been pushed back by a quarter.

This time, the work will be completed by the end of October and the teams will have two weeks to move from the Salle Empire to the new building.

The new Café de Paris is a major challenge, with increased volumes on the brasserie side and a team of 70 extra staff to serve twice as many diners daily. "The new building is extraordinary. It will be a formidable war machine to turn this iconic restaurant back into a magical place to stop when visiting the Place du Casino."

It will then be a few months before the building is fully operational. The seven shops on the façade will be delivered gradually between the end of 2023 and spring 2024.
