Alain Ducasse starts restaurant Ômer in Monte-Carlo

With Àmer by Alain Ducasse and Mada One by Marcel Ravin, two top international chefs are expanding the gourmet menu in Monaco.

20 stars, 28 own restaurants, employer for 1,200 employees and author of 100 works - the success story of Alain Ducasse is impressive. At the beginning of January, the French exceptional chef opened another institution at the legendary Hôtel de Paris in Monte-Carlo: the restaurant "Ômer". It is Ducasse's second restaurant in the Principality and focuses on Mediterranean flavors and the finest ingredients of the region.

Created by Ducasse and Chef Patrick Laine, the menu takes guests on a journey to the culinary traditions of Greece, Lebanon, Turkey, Morocco and Tunisia, with stops on the shores of Spain, Nice and Malta. The restaurant design is the brainchild of French interior designer Pierre-Yves Rochon, who specializes in designing Grand Hotels, and includes three niches and a "Wine Circle" - a round table surrounded by a wall of fine wines. The decoration of the restaurant is based on the theme of boats and is characterized by light colors and wood paneling. Dishes are sometimes served in a sharing style.
