The Brazilian artist Kobra offers a work to the principality

Yesterday, in the presence of HSH Prince Albert II, Guy Antognelli, Director of Tourism and Congresses and Luciana De Montigny, President of the Brazil Monaco Project Association, invited Brazilian streetart artist Eduardo Kobra to unveil his Work on the dock of the Yacht Club Monaco in front of many personalities.

This fresco, entitled "Global Warming", is about global warming, as its name suggests. Inspired by Salvador Dali's "The Persistence of Memory", this work represents watches placed on the ice floe. These refer to the passage of time that is unforgiving about the climate. Like the Sovereign Prince and Monaco, Kobra is very committed to sustainable development and the protection of the environment.

Offered to the Principality, this gigantic painting was signed by S.A.S. Prince Albert II before being installed on Fort Antoine to be exposed to everyone's view. The Brazilian artist also offered a canvas, exact replica of the work to 1 / 10th, to S.A.S. the Sovereign Prince.

Born in 1976 in Sao Paulo, Brazil, Eduardo Kobra creates giant, colorful and identifiable frescoes that he installs in the world's largest cities. His works challenge issues of concern such as saving animals or deforestation. Kobra also takes portraits of famous characters, symbols of peace or a contemporary era such as Nelson Mandela, Gandhi, Bob Marley, Albert Einstein or Salvador Dali ... His colorful frescoes offer the visitor a magnificent spectacle.
