Why Monaco's Christmas market is also a paradise for children
At the Christmas market, you can walk around, buy home-made gifts, have a drink or a bite to eat... It's also the perfect place for children. Zoom in on the activities.
With a Nutella doughnut in one hand and a little purple guitar just won while duck fishing in the other, Evana is over the moon. With a smile from ear to ear, the 7 year old from Nice is enjoying her snack with her brother Eidan, 11 years old. He too has his hands full, but with churros.
Like her big brother, Evana is delighted to be walking around the Monaco Christmas market on this Thursday. Accompanied by their parents, the brother and sister come straight from Nice. "And it's been a long time since we've been to Monaco," say the parents, Estelle and Nicolas.
The health crisis had deprived them of this opportunity in recent years, but they have always enjoyed coming to the Christmas market with their family. It must be said that this is a bit of a paradise for children.
First of all, there is not one, but several rides. The traditional wooden one with horses and a carousel, of course, but also for the youngest: the Christmas balls on the tree in which children (and parents) can slide or Santa's reindeer. For the more adventurous, the toboggan run and the rollerblade track also guarantee a few laughs.
