share their feeling on the Monaco Grand Prix circuit
This Tuesday evening in Monaco, cyclist and sprinter Caleb Ewan and Formula E driver Maximilian Günther got on their road bikes and rode side by side on the legendary circuit. The latter explained the specificities of the urban track and the energy management of his single-seater during a promotional sequence.
In their respective disciplines, cycling and Formula E, they are speed freaks. All things considered, of course. One, Caleb Ewan, sneaks his bike and his stocky figure into the final sprints. With success since he has won 11 stages in the big Tours (France, Italy and Spain). The other, Maximilian Günther from the Maserati MSG Racing team, is driving his electric single-seater at full speed around the world.
On Tuesday at around 6pm, four days before the sixth Monaco E-Prix, these two athletes and residents of the Principality rode their bikes side by side on the legendary urban track. On the way, the professional cyclist and driver took a slight diversions through the Fontvieille district, thus escaping the particularly dense road traffic at this rush hour.
During this promotional sequence - punctuated by a few stops in the pits, the harbour chicane and the Fairmont hairpin - the youngest winner in the history of Formula E (in 2020, at the age of 22, Maximilian Günther won the Santiago de Chile E-Prix, editor's note) explained to Caleb Ewan, who is an avid motor sports fan, how to drive as close to the tracks as possible and how to manage the energy of the electric car.
