Presentation of the Rolex Masters on April 2020

Tuesday February 11, 2020, Tournament Director Zeljko Franulovic unveiled the outlines of the 114th edition of the Rolex Monte-Carlo Masters, which will take place from April 11 to 19, 2020 on the clay courts of the Monte-Carlo Country Club .

After recalling the highlights of the previous edition, the Tournament Director announced that ATP awarded the Rolex Monte-Carlo Masters "the Award of Excellence for most improved venue in 2019". This award recognizes all of the new infrastructure that was launched last year, including a restaurant and lounge for players, and an interview room.

The 2020 edition will see the opening of a cocktail bar in place of the Rolex Boutique on the terraces of the Monte-Carlo Country Club and it is the American artist Lee Wybranski who realizes this year's poster.

A mini-tennis exhibition will be given on Saturday April 11 in the new gardens of Place du Casino with the two best players of the tournament.

With regard to the players, Zeljko Franulovic specifies: “alongside the world No. 1 and No. 2 Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal already registered, we are preparing to welcome the best world players every year. The final official list of players will be available on our website from March 19 ”.

The 114th edition will kick off with the title holder, Fabio Fognini, during the draw which will take place on the terraces of the Thermes Marins de Monte-Carlo, Friday 10 April at 6.30 p.m. It will be broadcast live on Monaco Info, as well as on the channel's Facebook page.
