Monegasque singer Olivia Dorato at the heart of a global album in 93 languages and featuring 200 artists.
With its 200 songs, The World Album, released on August 1st across five continents, is unique: it has successfully met the challenge of bringing together a singer born or raised in every country in the world. We met Olivia Dorato, the Monegasque representative of this international project.
Americans like to think big. And producer Brandon Beckwith is proof of this once again. On August 1st, after several years of reflection and work, he was finally able to unveil The World Album in Amsterdam. This project, as colossal as it is original, has become unique thanks to the adherence to a simple rule:
bring together as many artists as possible who were born or raised in a different country. Thus, with 200 songs, performed in 93 languages and spanning 121 musical genres, one of the longest albums in the world – 12.5 hours of listening – was born. Thanks to its extraordinary design, it has already earned three Guinness World Records titles and has been nominated for Best Global Music Album at the 2026 Grammy Awards.
