Reassuring news from Princess Charlene, who underwent surgery on Friday.

Princess Charlene underwent this Friday a sinus operation under general anaesthesia, scheduled for 4 hours, in South Africa. This Friday evening, Prince Albert II was reassuring by way of a statement.
This Friday evening, the sovereign gave news of his wife.

"The operation went well, Princess Charlene is resting and we are thinking of her tenderly," Prince Albert II said.

She has been suffering from a sinus infection for several months.  

The Princely Palace confirms that the sovereign and his children, Hereditary Prince James and Princess Gabriella, will join Princess Charlene during her period of convalescence, to be at her side and support her.
