The government unveiled its projections for the national budget on Wednesday

The government unveiled on Wednesday its projections for the 2021 national budget. It is unsurprisingly in deficit, while the state intends to maintain its major commitments for the country
"We must react, and at the same time, prepare for the future. A budget is an ambition, and it is a vision", underlines Jean Castellini, at the time of presenting, Wednesday morning in front of the press, the initial budget of the country for the year 2021.

In the very uncertain context imposed by the pandemic, the State services have increased this budget with regard to the corrigendum voted a few weeks ago, posting a deficit of 165 million euros. And unsurprisingly, for the first time since 2015, the Department of Economy and Finance is showing an initial budget in deficit.
