"Very pleasantly surprised by the Olympic Village" at the Beijing Olympics

The Monegasque delegation is at ease in Yanqing (China). Everyone is unanimous in recognising the quality and functionality of the facilities for these 24th Olympic Games.

The Monegasques are based in the Yanqing Olympic Village. Located 75 kilometres north-west of the centre of Beijing, Yanqing is a mountainous suburb of the Chinese capital that abounds in thermal springs, national parks and ski resorts. 

In addition to downhill skiing and sliding (bobsleigh, luge and skeleton), it is also home to the Badaling section of the Great Wall of China.
