...has begun renovation work on a 5-star hotel in Courchevel

The Deputy President of the Société des Bains de Mer, Stéphane Valeri, announced that the building permit for the renovation of a 5-star hotel in Courchevel 1850 has been cleared of all appeals. "Work has started," he told the local Monegasque press this Friday, September 19.

A pilot project for the Société des Bains de Mer's international expansion, the renovation of a 5-star hotel in the heart of Courchevel 1850's Alpine Garden appears to be on track. "We managed to get 94.5% of the co-owners to vote for the project and to discuss it with those who were less in favor so that there would be no appeal," explained Stéphane Valeri, Deputy Chairman of the SBM. "For two days, everything has been cleared, the permit has officially been issued. Work has begun."

Purchased in October 2023, the Palace des Neiges will be completely renovated over its initial 7,500 m² surface area, and even extended by more than 5,000 m², to eventually become Monte-Carlo One Courchevel.
