The Monaco Run scheduled for February 14 in Monaco is canceled for amateurs

The decision fell this morning and it is not necessarily pleasant.
Given the evolution of the Covid-19 epidemic, and in view of the movement and assembly restrictions that are imposed day by day, the Monegasque Athletics Federation regrets having to cancel the three races 5 km race for all ages, scheduled for February 14.

In accordance with the recommendations of international sports bodies, and in agreement with the princely government, the Monegasque Athletics Federation (FMA) only maintains a 5 km race for professional athletes.

For these runners, the conditions of participation remain unchanged and the presentation of a negative PCR test of less than 72 hours is compulsory.

For the FMA this is a huge blow, but in these difficult times, health comes first.

Nearly 450 runners were registered for this 2021 edition.
