Travelers from all over the world rank Monaco as the number one tourist destination in Europe

The European Best Destinations 2025 ranking, established by travelers from all over the world, places the Principality in first place this year among twenty European cities.

Number 2 in 2024, Monaco has done better this year and has become the best destination in Europe for the year 2025. The title has just been awarded following the results of the votes of 1.2 million travelers from 158 countries who were asked by the European Best Destinations website to rank – based on their experiences – the twenty best cities in Europe that are good to visit, according to various criteria.

The Principality received 115,891 votes. Behind Monaco for the 2025 ranking, the Latvian capital Riga ranks second. Then Dubrovnik in Croatia in third place.
