The IPCC advises in Monaco on the report on the effects of global warming on oceans and the ice of the earth. The multi-day debates are "another important milestone for the IPCC," said Hoesung Lee, chairman of the council, on Friday

Around 100 researchers examined the effects of manmade greenhouse gases on oceans and ice masses for the IPCC and summarized the knowledge in a report.

Now they want to debate with delegates of the IPCC member states about exact wording in it and present it this Wednesday (September 25) in the Principality on the Riviera. The IPCC chairman praised the support of the mini-state and its prince Albert II.
