The grand start of La Vuelta 2026, which will take place in Monaco, reveals its outlines

The first two stages of the 2026 Vuelta a España will take place in the Principality, with a time trial, before heading to France and then the Iberian Peninsula.

We've known since May 2024 that the grand start of the 2026 Vuelta – followed by several million fans at each edition – will take place in the Principality. The announcement was made at the Yacht Club of Monaco. What could be more logical than to meet again in this emblematic location of the Principality, in this year when Monaco is the world capital of sport, to unveil the outlines of this Tour of Spain with a Monegasque accent.
