Monegasque government posts redistributed at the top this autumn 2024

With the backing of President Macron, Prince Albert II has made a series of appointments to the key posts of Minister of State, Interior Councillor, Secretary of State for Justice and Chief of Police.

There are few democratic states that are not currently going through a powerful period of institutional turbulence, and that are not struggling to put together a cast of decision-makers who can look to the future with confidence. Although politically stable, Monaco has not escaped reshuffles in recent years either, but often under the pressure of legal cases that have cast suspicion on senior members of the State.
