Exceptional though it may be, it wasn't the Ferrari Monza SP2, with its outrageous price tag of almost 2 million euros, that caught everyone's eye in Monaco on Monday.

But it was the footballing genius who was on board...

If you've never heard of him, meet Erling Haaland. The 22-year-old Norwegian has won everything this year with his club Manchester City: the Premier League and the Champions League.

And, individually, it has also been a year of success for the striker: he now holds the record for the most goals scored in a single Premier League season with 35, and he is the top scorer for the entire 2022-2023 season, club and country combined, with 56 goals (ahead of our national Kylian Mbappé by two goals).

But it was in Monaco that the man tipped to be the next Ballon d'Or winner came for a rest. After lunch at the Monaco Yacht Club, where he met Prince Albert II, Erling Haaland, according to some witnesses, boarded a boat mid-afternoon and headed for Saint-Tropez.
