The "Fontvieille" footbridge should be put into service in June 2025
A new footbridge will be built as an extension of the Wurtemberg footbridge and put into service in June 2025. It is part of a vast pedestrian path between the Salines park and ride, at the western entrance to the city, and the districts of Fontvieille and La Condamine.
In order to reduce intra-muros road traffic and increase its soft mobility policy, the princely government has this year put into operation a vast pedestrian path between the Salines park and ride (1,790 spaces at the entrance to the city) and the districts of Fontvieille and La Condamine. Between 10 and 13 minutes on foot via the Salines gallery and the Wurtemberg footbridge, nestled at the Pasteur block.
In its extension, a second footbridge - provisionally named "Fontvieille" for the time being - will be erected in the coming months for an estimated commissioning in June 2025.
