The president of the National Council of Monaco tested positive

In a press release this Monday morning, the Monegasque parliamentary institution announces that "the President of the National Council carried out [today] a PCR test. It was found to be positive for SARS-COV2. Stéphane Valeri shows only few symptoms. His condition does not cause any concern. He is doing well and organizing the work of the National Council remotely from his home, in close collaboration with his main collaborators ".

In accordance with current health protocols in the Principality, potential contact cases for Stéphane Valeri have been identified and will also be subjected to a test within 24 hours.
