Soon, fenced-off areas with a subscription fee for parking your bicycles in Monaco's public parking lots

This was an exclusive announcement made by Minister of Public Works, Céline Caron-Dagioni, at the Ever Forum, which closed on October 16. It will affect some of the fifty or so public parking lots in the Principality.

"Today, we are seeing the enormous success of Monabikes, but also the rise of individuals who own their own electric bikes. They can't always be parked in the office; that's not their place. So, I'm announcing this as a preview: we are beginning to equip and reorganize parking lots with specific fenced-off areas requiring a subscription fee that will allow users to park and charge their electric bikes," announced Minister of Public Works, Céline Caron-Dagioni, at the Ever Monaco Forum.

"This is made possible thanks to the Salines car park, which has allowed us to place assets here and thus free up spaces in the city centre car parks," the government member continued.
