Princess Stephanie's view of the proposed law on the animal cause

Always quick to debate when it comes to the animal cause, Princess Stéphanie has read the bill that our MPs will vote on 15 November. And she responds with her freedom of tone.

Co-signed by Loïc Dombreval, MP for the Alpes-Maritimes, the proposed law on the animal cause is broad in scope. Adoption, abandonment, importation, reproduction, abuse and sanctions. The text contains advances that Princess Stéphanie is delighted about. She is much more critical on other subjects, including the ban on wild animals in travelling circuses and the future of cetaceans in Marineland.

No more dogs or cats in the showcase. Is this progress?

These animals are kept on top of each other in little boxes in the window and have to live in difficult conditions. A puppy pees and poops, it has to be cleaned up and taken care of. These puppies are often left alone, never outside, we don't always know where they come from, some die of a disease, yes, that has always bothered me.

All this has to be controlled.
