On Sunday evening, the Sovereign's wife took the initiative of inviting the members of the Monegasque Seniors' Association to a dinner and a festive occasion in the open air on the Place d'Armes.
On this first Sunday in autumn, the atmosphere in the heart of La Condamine was one of spring. The Place d'Armes was transformed into a dance floor for a festive and convivial event organised by the Amicale des aînés monégasques.
The initiative was the brainchild of Princess Charlène, who had long been keen to share a moment with the Principality's senior citizens. With the pandemic having thwarted her plans on several occasions, 24 September proved to be just the right moment.

At the end of the day on Sunday, 120 members of the Amicale took part in the open-air banquet, which was organised with a helping hand from the Town Hall.
The programme included a dinner to the sound of international hits distilled by a group of singers and musicians playing live.
