A young man from Nice and an Italian woman win the Giru de Natale run by 1,900 people in Monaco
The race organized by the sports association of the Sûreté publique mobilized athletes yesterday morning on a ten-kilometer circuit between La Condamine, Larvotto and Le Rocher.
Kick-off at 10:30, the weather was fine, rugby player Antoine Zeghdar to give the start. The U Giru de Natale plan went off without a hitch this Sunday in a Principality that had become the scene of a giant foot race.
The 29th edition of U Giru de Natale mobilized a total of 1,900 runners this Sunday on the ten-kilometer course. "Our third record in terms of participants", rejoices Bastien Isaia, race director and president of the sports association of the Public Safety which organizes the event.
"The post-Covid period was a little difficult to manage, we are now seeing a return to normal. And our objective is to offer, with an increase in participants, an identical quality of service to run safely and enjoy the panorama of the Principality."
