The historic Monte-Carlo Rally is canceled
The strengthening of health measures on French territory, in particular the extension of the curfew from 6 p.m. to all departments, forced the Automobile Club de Monaco to cancel the 24th edition of the historic Monte-Carlo Rally, scheduled for January 30. to February 3.
The leaders of the ACM were impatiently awaiting the conference of Jean Castex, the French Prime Minister. Decisions announced depended on the maintenance, or not, of the historic Monte-Carlo rally.
The extension of the curfew to 6 p.m., applicable from this Saturday, to all the departments crossed and the difficulties linked to the closure of the reception structures left no other choice to the organizing committee than to cancel the 24th edition of this event, whose departure from Monaco was scheduled for January 30th.
