How the Entertainment Village Copes with the Heat at Port Hercule in Monaco
With summer in full swing, the Entertainment Village at Port Hercule offers a wide range of sports activities. To avoid heatstroke, young people and adults alike are using a variety of tricks.
Appearances can be deceptive. Even when clouds dominate Monaco's sky, the heat remains unaffected, especially on the Albert Ier Quay, which has no shaded areas.
Since the launch of the Summer Village on July 18th at Port Hercule, temperatures have hovered around 30°C. This is certainly lower than the 35°C reached during the June heatwave, but high enough to feel the effect.
