The Mosaic Music Festival has announced that tickets have now gone on sale for concerts in the autumn 2023.

Four classical music concerts featuring internationally recognised musicians will be held in Monaco and st Jean Cap Ferrat. Our theme for the Mosaic Festival is to pair established musicians with those who are on the cusp of making their mark on the international stage. Our aim is also to introduce the public to the music of the living composers and each programme will include contemporary works. We have commissioned a new work by Elena Firsova, which will have its world premiere in October 2023 during the festival. Our particular emphasis is on the audience experience and each concert will provide an opportunity for social discussion over drinks and canapés after the concerts.

A show for children imagined by Edna Stern and Tatiana Svetlova is based on Schumann’s “Carnaval” Op 9 will be premiered on 14th October 2023.

The show will feature a projected animation created by a sand artist  and the story will be told between musical pieces. The animation together with narrated story will create a magical context for enjoying the music.

Our aim is to introduce children to classical music, fire their imagination and cultivate the enjoyment of theatrical productions at a young age. Children will leave the show with the Carnival Party book and a music recording.

The Rainer iii auditorium will host a concert by the winner of the Monaco Piano completion Nikolai Kuznitsov on 17th September 2023, while the magnificent villa Ephrussi will be the venue for the following piano concerts:

4th October 2023 at 1930 - Elisabeth Leonskaja and Evelyne Berezovsky

5th October 2023 at 1930- David Fray and Jacques Rouvier

8th October 2023 at 1930 - Edna Stern and Louis - Victor Bak

14th October - Children’s Show Carnival Party at 12 pm in French and 1500 in English. This is as part of the Mosaic Festival’s commitment to get children to get involved in classical music.

Festival founder Tatiana Svetlova said: “we’re so excited to bring these musicians to the French Riviera. We can promise thrilling concerts that mark our first festival in this part of the world.”
