The International German Club organizes numerous events in Monaco every year. In addition, surpluses from the income are regularly donated to charitable organizations.

The International German Club of the Principality of Monaco (Club Allemand International de la Principauté de Monaco, “CAI”) is a Monegasque association. The club's purpose is to promote cultural, social and charitable interests. It also enables and promotes the cultivation of personal relationships among club members.

In 1973, the German Club was founded by Mr. Karl Vanis and a board of prominent personalities as a private club for an indefinite period and without a profit orientation, in agreement with the Monegasque government. Around 1975, the club was given its current name "Club Allemand International" to signal that the club is open to all nationalities. At the end of 2017, it was converted into a Monegasque association. The club's headquarters are in the Hotel de Paris, Place du Casino in Monte-Carlo, thanks to the initiative and support of the Prince de Polignac.

The CAI has around 200 members from 25 countries. The CAI's diverse events are in the cultural, social and charitable areas, especially in Monaco, as well as in the context of German-Monegasque friendship. The annual program for its members includes over 30 different events, such as participation in important events such as the Circus Festival Gala, the Monte-Carlo Tennis Masters, the Grand Prix, the opening ceremony of the TV Festival or the Red Cross Gala. Other sporting or cultural events such as golf or a boules tournament, as well as numerous private invitations from members for members, complete the program. There is also an annual trip to a more or less distant destination. Important events are also the annual general meeting and the summer CAI charity gala.
