"U Sciaratu" Conquers America
The 12th edition of the Monaco summer carnival took place Friday evening with an American theme. A nod to Independence Day on July 4, 1776.
Cowboys, cheerleaders, and dance companies invaded the streets of the Rock this Friday evening for a highly anticipated edition of the U Sciaratu carnival, dedicated to America.
Western encampment, street performances, an open-air dance, and children's workshops immersed the old town in a festive and offbeat atmosphere, highlighting the United States through the ages. From the Wild West to Woodstock, via 1980s cheerleaders and iconic figures of the American dream, the streets around the town hall and the palace were transformed into an open-air stage. U Sciaratu once again succeeded in thrilling the Rock.
