with ambitions in Monaco... and a partnership with Ferrari

The Principality's largest hotel has been reinventing itself for several months, redecorating its rooms and restaurants and strengthening its position as a hotel for tourists and conference attendees.

The Horizon Mer has been retained since the entrance, but the surrounding decor has changed. In the lobby, the furniture and striped patterns embody the innovation that has been introduced in recent years at the Fairmont Monte-Carlo to renovate and reinvigorate the Principality's largest hotel, which celebrates its half-century in 2025.

Revived and refurbished!
"We've never been stronger," smiles Alexandre Ariel, also a key player in this change. The former number two at the hotel, where he started his career in 2008, has been General Manager for the past few weeks. Tasked with continuing a story that began in 1975, with a vision. That of Princess Grace, who envisioned this land of the Pigeon Shooting Range as a place to build a hotel. "With Prince Rainier III, they were very visionary, wanting to develop tourism in the Principality by creating this resort in the heart of Monte-Carlo with rooms, restaurants, a casino, and a cabaret. And this hotel has become iconic."
