A rubbish fire broke out on the construction site of the future "Mareterra" district in Monaco

This Tuesday evening, a fire broke out on the balcony of an apartment under construction in the future Mareterra district. A large number of firefighters were deployed to the scene.

The flames and smoke that escaped, this Tuesday evening, from the balcony of an apartment under construction in the future Mareterra district did not go unnoticed in Larvotto. Alerted, the Monegasque firefighters sent five vehicles, 20 personnel and a reconnaissance drone to anticipate any spread to the apartment. It was in reality a simple rubbish fire, already extinguished by the workers when they arrived.

On September 17, the Principality's firefighters had already intervened on this construction site to rescue a 58-year-old worker, victim of a work accident. In a relative emergency, the man was transported conscious to the Princess Grace Hospital in Monaco.
