In Monaco, schools will remain open this Tuesday, but absentees will not be penalized

After the orange alert from Météo France for Tuesday and the decision of the prefect of the Alpes-Maritimes to close all schools, the principality of Monaco has just announced its decision, Monday evening.

This Monday evening, the princely government has just indicated its decision to "keep open the nurseries and schools of the Principality" this Tuesday while recommending "to parents of pupils as well as to any person residing outside Monaco to follow the recommendations prescribed by the prefecture of the Alpes-Maritimes in terms of travel.
No absence noted tomorrow will be penalized."

In short, the idea is not to put yourself in danger.

A measured decision which follows that announced this Monday at 5:50 p.m. by the Alpes-Maritimes prefecture to close daycare centers and schools throughout the department this Tuesday, October 8 due to the orange "rain-flood" and yellow "storm" alerts.
