becomes ambassador for ‘Daghe’, a new alcohol-free drink designed by Monte-Carlo Beer
Five years after their Monte Carlo Beer, William Scheffer and Anthony Orengo have come up with a new non-alcoholic drink in a variety of flavours, brewed in Peille.
Superstition? In 2019, they produced precisely 10,000 bottles to launch their Monte-Carlo Beer brand. Five years later, they are preparing to flood the Monegasque market with a new drink, aptly named Daghe! The drink is designed as a collection, starting with four flavours: lemonade, cola, tonic and ginger beer.
There's no alcohol in the bottles, but Anthony Orengo and William Scheffer, the two fathers of Daghe and long-time friends, wanted to expand their range of soft drinks. ‘From 2021 onwards, after Monte-Carlo Beer was launched, we had this soft drinks project. We talked about it, worked on the packaging and the recipes, but we never found the right time to launch,’ they sum up.
In the end, it was customer demand for an alternative way to quench their thirst and the trend in the international market towards alcohol-free drinks that motivated them to launch at the end of the summer.
