What infrastructure is planned for the Charles-III block in Monaco?

In addition to a huge green space planned for 2030, major infrastructure projects are also due to be built on the Charles-III block in Monaco. We take a look.

Located on the edge of Cap-d'Ail, at the western entrance to the Principality, the Charles-III block is the last vast area of land to be built on inherited by the Monegasque State after the railway line was laid underground in the 1990s. On this "SNCF derelict land", the Princely Government plans to build a pedestal, the cost of which is estimated at around 800 million euros in the three-year public facilities plan for 2024-2025-2026.
