50th anniversary of the Monte-Carlo Circus Festival next January

The 46th edition, from 19 to 28 January, will mark half a century of this event initiated by Prince Rainier III in December 1974, which brings together artists from all over the world.

The Festival's fiftieth anniversary and the centenary of the birth of its creator, Prince Rainier III... the coincidence of dates is bound to be cause for celebration when the 46th Monte-Carlo International Circus Festival opens in a few weeks' time. Half a century has passed since the very first edition in December 1974, not counting the festivals of 1982, 1986, 1991, 2021 and 2022, which were cancelled for various reasons.
