The Princely couple christen the new Café de Paris in Monaco
The Prince and Princess have inaugurated the Café de Paris, which has been transformed after 19 months of renovation. The establishment, which reopened its doors a few days ago, has not been empty.

Open to the general public since 14 November, the Café de Paris brasserie was officially inaugurated on Wednesday evening by Prince Albert II and Princess Charlène, accompanied by Camille Gottlieb, Marie and Louis Ducruet.

This marks a new stage for the establishment, which opened one hundred and fifty-five years ago and has been remodelled six times since the end of the 19th century. The new transformation, which will take 19 months to complete, has been estimated at 70 million euros by Stéphane Valeri, Chairman and Managing Director of the Société des Bains de Mer, who confirmed the amount of the investment on Radio Monaco.

On Wednesday evening, in front of 120 guests, he expressed his satisfaction that with the reopening of the "iconic" brasserie, "the magic is back" in Monte Carlo. And bookings are still pouring in...
