Seven restaurants under temporary administrative closure in Monaco

This is a record. As part of the fight against the Covid-19 epidemic, Public Security officers have decided to temporarily close seven restaurants in the Principality that were inspected and that did not comply with the compulsory instructions to wear masks for their employees.

Public Security is continuing its checks to ensure that the rules to be applied in restaurants to combat the Covid-19 virus are respected. And it has just sanctioned seven establishments in the Principality. A record.

In the Journal de Monaco dated 19 November, it is stated that seven new establishments are under the yoke of a temporary administrative closure of four or seven days.
These are the restaurants Pulcinella, Quai des Artistes, Le Neptune, Stars 'N' Bars, Before, Cova and the restaurant of the Club 39 gym, located on Avenue Princesse-Grace.
 
The main accusation against these restaurant owners is that they did not respect the wearing of masks in the kitchen or when serving. The ministerial orders state that "these failures constitute a serious and characterized disregard of the regulatory provisions enacted in the fight against the Covid-19 epidemic, which cannot be accepted given the current health situation".

For six establishments, these temporary administrative closures come after several reminders by the Public Security forces during previous inspections, some of them having already been subject to one or more temporary administrative closures.

As the administrative closures are for a period of four days and seven days from the notification of the ministerial order, i.e. on 18 November, these establishments should be able to reopen this week.
